Last year when I really got into playing with paper and experimenting with paper templates, I came across a great website. My Time, My Creations, My Stampendence. It's a must see! She creates some pretty amazing stuff. You should also check out her shop, My Time Made Easy. She has a lot of great templates. Now, me being the frugal crafter that I am, I haven't purchased any of her templates. Not because I don't think they aren't worth it, but because getting out of debt and buying my dream house is just a bit higher of a priority right now. Can you blame me?
Anyway, I fell IN LOVE with her To Go Cup template.
Yes... a template to create a to go style cup (lid not included)! Isn't it the cutest packaging you could imagine for gifting some tasty hot cocoa or tea bags to a dear sick friend? I don't think this creation is supposed to hold liquids, but it does say you can wrap one of the "real" to go cups. So, you can make it even prettier with designer paper, etc.
Well, one of my other favorite sites, Think Garnish offers to go cups w/ lid for $0.35 per cup.
So, I ordered some of these to experiment with. Here's my first creation!
Yea, the mini spoon came from Garnish as well!
I added a couple of packets of hot chocolate inside the cup and decorated the outside of the cup with some embellishments that I had left over from making these.
So, whether you shop Time Made Easy or Think Garnish I think the recipient of your gift will be THRILLED!
