Fashion Problem ... Quick Solution

I bought this shirt at Old Navy about 2 years ago and I love it.  The style of it and how it fits.  I actually have 2.  This one and one in black.  I feel girly in it and love it.  However, I don't care too much for the oh so low neck line.  In the pic it looks fine.  But as much as I hate it, I'm a sloucher when I sit, and when I slouch too much is visible.  I'm constantly placing my hand over my chest when I'm sitting at my desk at work or pulling it up.  It's quite annoying and I've been in search of a quick solution.  I knew all along I could layer it but had no shirt that would look good layered.
I was in search of a shirt to modify.  I found this one stashed away in my drawer.  I haven't worn it since before being pregnant with Aaron.
I found it at the Family Dollar.  It was a very thin comfy fabric but the style wasn't so comfy.  You can't see it well but there is a band around the bottom and the sleeves.  The made the whole shirt awkward when wearing it and the bands were a bit too tight around my arms.  So, I began my modification.  I cut those bands away.  Tried on the shirt and still didn't quite like the sleeves so I cut the sleeves off too.  This is what I got.
It looks cute by it's self.  But that wasn't the reason for my modification.

Here's the final out come and solution to my problem.  I LOVE IT!
It's a bit longer my "girly" shirt, but that's ok.  I like the layered look!

thats cute, it gave me an idea for a shirt I love but waaaay to lose up on top. The hubs does not like me wearing blouses like that, but neither do I. It's so uncomfortable to have to keep placing your hand to cover. I hear ya.

by the way, I changed my blog address and since you were following me there, I thought I'd give you my new address:

Cute idea. I like how it has the layered look now. I totally understand the too low of shirt thing so I like your solution.
