Save the drama for your mama!

Facebook drama is hilariously stupid to me.  People dissing their husbands on the world wide web, talking bad about their in-laws, "friends" back stabbing "friends.  The list goes on and on.  I've never taken part in online drama, at least not since I've become an adult.  I think I might have a couple of times as a teenager, but what teenage girl didn't enjoy drama... yes, I was one of those teenagers.

I had a dream last night that I was involved in Facebook drama.  Why?  Because I was reading some posts of someone's drama and thinking about how childish and ridiculous it was.  I should probably not even be reading this stuff.  Garbage in, garbage out!  I believe this and if I read too much I'll probably end up adding to this facebook drama that I disagree with.  Don't want to do that.

I like to think that I try to follow this verse.  There are times I could try harder though.  I have had to just stop talking to some people due to the fact I had nothing nice to say to them.  I felt this was the only way to avoid saying things that I shouldn't say.  Am I the only one that struggles with this?

As you can already tell this is a more personal post that has nothing to do with crafts or My Shop.  I don't want this blog to be all about "business" and would like to get to know my readers and for my readers to get to know me (if you'd like).  I hope you don't mind.

I had a dream nightmare last night that I was the cause (indirectly) of some Facebook drama.  I was scheduled to get a massage (which I have never had) and this person that was doing the massage had a "booth" in the middle of this cafe where a lot of my Facebook friends hung out.  Only problem was it wasn't a very private "booth", it was just a corner of the cafe with the massage table.  When it was time for my massage the person said "Ok, Ashley, take your shirt off." and I did, not thinking twice about it (something I would NEVER do).  But once my shirt was off everyone looked at me as if I had done something terribly wrong.  The person that was getting a massage before me, however, had done the same thing with no such response.  So, it was personal!  Of course I was mortified by the reaction and jumped on the massage table and quickly covered myself with the sheet.  Later when I arrived home I found a ton of posts on my Facebook wall of "friends" attacking me for doing such a thing.

From this dream I gathered a few things:
  • I can't wait to have coffee with my friends tomorrow night (it's been a while)
  • I may be a tad bit insecure about my self and my appearance
  • I don't like drama
  • I need a massage, but not sure I could go through with one after this dream nightmare

haha, yes, same here... shirt on. I don't know why I even dreamt of having one without a shirt on. I guess because I've never had one and always see it like that in the movies.
